This handwoven basket is made in the north of Ghana by a group of self-taught women in Bolgatanga. It showcases the artistry of African weaving while providing practical and sustainable solutions for everyday needs. The baskets are made from 100% locally grown elephant grass with high quality fibres and natural dyes, making them an eco-friendly choice. Their production often involves minimal environmental impact compared to synthetic alternatives and the baskets are biodegradable too.
Use as a day to day bag, for a day at the beach, or as a shopping basket.
