This handwoven Bolga basket is made in the North of Ghana by a group of self-taught women. This strong basket can be used as storage for toys, shoes, laundry, throws etc... in the home, or as a shopping basket to take around farmers markets or on your local food shop. Why not take it out for a picnic with all you've bought? The swinging leather handle makes it easy to carry around a basket full of goods.
If, like us, you'd like to use the basket as a plant pot, make sure to use a saucer so the basket doesn't rot.

HAND-MADE not MACHINE-MADE: We aim to promote the work that our artisans do. These baskets are woven by a group of women using natural dye and materials. Each woman puts her own unique touch on the basket so dimensions and colours may vary slightly.
