Also known as the lipstick plant because of its vibrant red, tuberous flowers. In the warmer months wait for the top 2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings, and over winter wait for the soil to almost dry out completely before watering. They prefer bright but indirect light and a pot with plenty of drainage.
